The card
A knight in black armour sits motionless on a heavy plough horse at the edge of a ploughed field, holding a coin and looking at it. He is the only knight in the deck who is not moving.
The Knight of Pentacles gets there. Not quickly, not impressively, but reliably — and over any distance that matters he outperforms every other knight in the suit of horses.
Knight of Pentacles upright
Slow, dependable progress. A commitment kept, a plan followed to the end, a partner who does what they said they would, a job that pays steadily and asks for consistency rather than brilliance.
Stay on the road. This card rewards method over inspiration and finishing over starting. If you are waiting on results, they will arrive on schedule rather than early. If someone in your life is showing you this energy, notice that reliability is a form of affection and one of the rarest.
Knight of Pentacles reversed
