The card
Justice sits between two pillars with a sword raised and scales held level, and her eyes are open — unlike the blindfolded figure of civic law. She sees everything, including the part of the story you have been leaving out when you tell it to yourself.
This card is cause and effect made visible. It does not moralise; it simply weighs. Every choice you have made has been recorded in the shape of your present life, and this is the season in which the arithmetic becomes legible.
Justice upright
A matter is resolved fairly. A contract, a legal question, a formal decision, an agreement that finally reflects what is actually true. If you have acted honestly, this card is on your side.
It also asks for balance — in the ledger, in the relationship, in how much you give against how much you receive. Look clearly at where you have been carrying a disproportionate share, or where someone has been carrying yours. Take responsibility for your part exactly, neither less than your share nor more. Precision here is a form of kindness.
Justice reversed
Reversed, the scales tilt. A decision made on incomplete information, a bias nobody in the room will name, an agreement that quietly favours one side. You may be on the receiving end of unfairness, or you may be the one who benefits from it and prefers not to look.
This position also shows responsibility being dodged — the accounting postponed, blame relocated, a truth carefully not asked about. The reckoning does not disappear when it is deferred; it accrues. Face the number now, while it is still small enough to pay.

Thought is analytical and comparative — weighing what is fair, what is owed, what the consequences of each option would be. Emotion is deliberately held at a distance so that the judgement stays clean.
🜄Feelings and relationships
Feeling measured against principle. There is a wish for honesty and clear terms rather than mystery. Strained, this becomes coldness — love turned into a ledger, with kindnesses counted and grievances filed.
🜃Work and money
Contracts, law, audits, negotiation, official processes, any matter where the paperwork decides the outcome. In money, an accounting: debts settled, taxes reckoned, an imbalance corrected one way or the other.
